Abstract
This paper studied the self-healing behavior of cementitious materials with fly ash(FA).Various parameters were considered, such as FA replacement ratio, preloading level and times of preloading.Mechanical tests were conducted to evaluate the self-healing performance. The results revealed that the impact of self-healing was declined with the increase of preloading level and preloading times.Besides,a moderate FA replacement ratio was beneficial to activate self-healing behavior, where its residual strength after twice preloading of 80% was increased by 11%in comparison with the undamaged ones. This study extended the understanding of self-healing technique with addition of FA.
