By using FLac3D,the pile drilling process is simulated by null zone.The effect of the soil of the wall mud should be equivalent to the still water based on the existing references,whose pressure is applied to the circumferential side of the hole in the form of normal uniform load.A certain calculation step is set to simulate the hole-empty and stress release time.The interface is established on the surface of the soil around the hole to represent interaction between pile and soil.New pile solid zone is generated by several segments,and then move into the hole to simulate process of pile-forming.
The ef fects of wall mud density,hole-empty time,drilling speed and pileforming speed on surface settlement were compared through different construction conditions.
