Abstract

Cracks deteriorate concrete's strength, performance and durability[1],particularly for underground structures, which will reduce extended service life of the structure. In light of the limitations of traditional repairing methods in an aqueous environment[2,3],the electrochemical deposition method(EDM),as a new technique for repairing concrete cracks in a water environment, has been developed in the past 20 years and applied to marine structures and other situation[4-8].

This paper focuses on the experimental analysis of the asymmetric restoration of the cracked underground structures using EDM.
