2.Population coverage, new cancer cases and cancer deaths
Population coverage of Cancer Registries in Henan Province was 29,231,229 (15,061,991 males and 14,169,238 females), accounting for 27.10% of the provincial population in 2016, with 6,041,497(20.67%) in urban areas and 23,189,732 (79.33%) in rural areas.
A total of 78430 new cancer cases were reported in 2016, among which 16,724 (21.32%) were from urban areas, and 61,706 (78.68%) were from rural areas.There were 47,359 new cancer deaths in 2016,with 9,512 (20.08%) in urban areas and 37,847(79.92%) in rural areas.(Table 3-2)(https://www.daowen.com)
