The age-specific mortality rate of all cancer sites in Henan increased with age.It was 13.2/105 at age group of 30~ and 199.57/105 at 50~84, it reached the peak of 1 991.97/105 when at age group of 85+.
When assessing the mortality in urban and rural areas, the age-specific mortality rate was relatively low before 35 years old with less differences between the urban and rural areas.For males, the mortality rates in urban areas was lower than those in urban areas at the age group of 45~74 years old and they were higher after 75 years old.For females, the mortality rates in urban areas were lower than those in rural areas between 40~74 years old and they were higher after 70 years old in urban areas than those in rural areas.(Table 4-8, Figure 4-6a~figure 4-6d)
