Doubtless，mind is dominant，mattermust remain its slave as long as it is a question of the highest forms of literary and artistic creation.The roles are reversed only in those lower forms of activity which have been allowed tomultiply in these days of ever-increasing license，to the great detriment of civilization，of human dignity and truth，as well as in the international relations.
