6.2　Foundations and space-based detection

Ground-based instruments include the Dobson,Brewer and Filter M-124 ozone measuring instruments.There are 149 ground ozone stations in the world,116 in the northern hemisphere and 33 in the southern hemisphere.

Space-based observations are satellite observations that contain OMI ozone data monitors.OMI observes the total amount of ozone column,broad line,aerosol,cloud and ultraviolet radiation,and trace gases such as OCl O to study the earth's atmosphere.
