【注释】
〔1〕infrared rays红外线，是波长介于微波与可见光之间的电磁波，波长在1mm到760纳米（nm）之间，比红光长的非可见光。高于绝对零度（-273.15℃）的物质都可以产生红外线。
〔2〕ultra-violet rays紫外线，紫外线指的是电磁波谱中波长从100nm～400nm电磁波的总称，不能引起人们的视觉。紫外线可以用来灭菌，过多的紫外线进入体内会引发皮肤癌。
〔3〕X rays X射线是由于原子中的电子在能量相差悬殊的两个能级之间的跃迁而产生的粒子流，是波长介于紫外线和γ射线之间的电磁波。
〔4〕gamma rays伽玛射线，一般指γ射线，又称γ粒子流，是原子核能级跃迁退激时释放出的射线，是波长短于0.01埃的电磁波。
