（1）dot：点，圆点。比较狭义，是指比较具体的“点”或“圆点”；作为动词使用时意为：在……加点。如：
Count the dots on the wall.
数一数墙上有几个小圆点。
（2）point：要点；得分。当作名词时，除了指“点”之外，还能作“要点；分数；尖端”等意思。作为动词时作“指出、指向、瞄准，或是加标点于……”等用法。如：
The number inside cannot have two decimal points.
数字里不能出现两个小数点。
（3）spot：点，斑点；圆点；污点。如：(https://www.daowen.com)
Did you feel a few spots of rain?
你觉得有几点雨吗？
（4）bead：小珠子；汗滴；水滴等。如：
Beads of water fell from the leaves.
水滴从树叶上落下。
