In 2018, the Kailuan Group produced 31.84 million tons of raw coal, 7.71 million tons of clean coal, and 23.2 million tons of self-produced commercial coal. Commercial coal sales reached 23.59 million tons, and coke production reached 6.5 million tons. The operating revenue was 73 billion yuan and the enterprise profit was 800 million yuan, exceeding the assessment target of SASAC. The industrial structure was continuously optimized, and the revenue of coal and coal chemical industry increased by 2 percent and 11 percent respectively over the previous year, while profits increased by 41 percent and 390 percent respectively.
