◎Black Pottery

As an ancient pottery making technique spread in Shenzhou Prefecture, the ancient pottery art originated more than 4,000 years ago. Those ancient pottery products are all handmade with strict requirements and unique skills.Black pottery products are “as black as paint,as bright as mirror,as thin as paper, and as hard as porcelain (or as loud as Qing,a Chinese percussion instrument),” and newly developed pottery works with twistable glaze are “like jade in texture, colorful in color, vivid in shape and natural in appearance.” The ancient pottery art of Shenzhou Prefecture can reproduce the style and features of ancient Chinese pottery art.Pottery works represent the traditional aesthetic concept of “using white to highlight black” of the Chinese nation, and have high collection value.Black pottery technology is only grasped by a small number of persons at Fujiazhuang Village,so it is on the verge of being lost to future generations.(https://www.daowen.com)
