◎Beisuzha Anle Yangko
The Anle Yangko of Beisuzha Village has a history of more than 70 years. It was developed based on the folk dance “Taiping Trolley (a model trolley used as a stage prop in the folk dance)” which has a history of more than 300 years and in combination with the characteristics of Northeast Yangko.According to the research of predecessors,in the 20th year of the Republic of China (1931),An Yunting (1906-1946),a villager of Beisuzha Village who worked in Anshan,Liaoning Province, came home for the Spring Festival. When the villagers performed “Taiping Trolley,” he saw that the villagers were not good at twisting,so he taught Yangko’s action he learned in Anshan to those villagers. In this way,the first generation of Yangko artists skillfully integrated the bumping and vibrating actions of “Taiping Trolley” with the “twisting” one of Northeast Yangko, creating a new Yangko form with beautiful movements, rich rhythms, and abundant charm.Generated in Hengshui,Anle Yangko is a unique folk art full of rich local customs of southeast Hebei, and a representative of the Taocheng culture about the Spring Festival. As a representative of our national folk art,Anle Yangko has been included in the Information Collection of Hebei Folk Dances and Collection of Chinese Folk Dances:Hebei Volume.(https://www.daowen.com)
