Hengshui engineering rubber has won the ten first titles nationwide,attracting great attention.The first standard for plate-type rubber bearing was formulated by the Hengshui engineering rubber industry in cooperation with the Ministry of Communications in 1987.In 1988,Hengshui embraced the first domestic enterprise that reached the industrial standard issued by the Ministry of Communications.In 1992,it saw the first domestic company that developed and produced round-plate-type rubber bearing in China.China’s first engineering rubber technology patent was born here in 1994.In the same year,in the international bidding of Shantou Bay Bridge,a Hengshui engineering rubber company won the bid for the first time,ending the history of relying on import for large expansion devices for bridges in China.The slope bearing developed and produced by an engineering company in Hengshui in 1995 has won the first technical patent in China.The first engineering rubber (industry) association in China was established in Hengshui in 2000.The first national standard for engineering rubber products was drafted based on the production standards of companies in Hengshui in 2002.In 2004,Taocheng District,as the birthplace of engineering rubber,won the title of “China (Hengshui) Manufacturing Base of Engineering Rubber Industry,” which symbolizes the highest honor of the industry,and aroused strong echos in China.(https://www.daowen.com)
