The ancient government office adopts the architectural form of five halls and six courtyards.Generally speaking,it has three lines,three characteristics and three functions.Among them,the three lines are the main axis,a line in the east and a line in the west.The three characteristics are facing south,hall in the front and office in the back,military function in the east and civilian function in the west.The three functions are administrative function,military function and post office function.

The ancient government office also has many landscapes,such as the Capital Museum of Ancient Zhongshan State,the Model Office Hall,the Hall of Beauties and Talented Women,the Hall of Great People,the five temples and one pavilion.The real allusions occurred in Dingzhou Government Office in history,such as“whipping the Duyou (local inspector),”“Cao Rui rebuked his son”have also been presented in various forms.
