◎Huiche Lane

Huiche Lane is about 75 meters long and 1.8 meters wide. According to legend,during the Warring States Period,high official Lin Xiangru humbly made way for General Lian Po,hence the name. The wall at the east entrance is inlaid with a stone tablet erected in 1584,which was inscribed with the words “Lin Xiangru Huiche Lane.” In 1981,the lane was renovated and a stone tablet pavilion,which is 4.4 meters high and 2.3 meters wide,was built there. The inscription on it records the stories of Lin Xiangru,who,in the interests of his country,repeatedly made way for Lian Po so as to make peace with him.(https://www.daowen.com)
