Section III Development Status

Since 2019, guided by Xi Jinping Thought on Socialism with Chinese Characteristics for a New Era and under the strong leadership of the Municipal Party Committee and the Municipal People's Government, Qinhuangdao has further optimized its industrial structure, achieved remarkable results of high-quality development, continuously improved the people's living standards, developed the social undertakings in an all-round way, by comprehensively implementing the spirits of the 19th National Congress of the Communist Party of China (CPC) and its 2nd, 3rd, 4th, and 5th Plenary Sessions, conscientiously carrying out the decisions made by the state,provincial and municipal governments, insisting on the general keynote of seeking improvement in stability, adhering to the new development concept,promoting the high-quality development, deeming the supply side structural reform as the main line, and deeply carrying out the development strategy of building the city by ecology, strengthening the city by industry, revitalizing the city through opening-up, and improving the city with civilization, so as to take solid steps to build a strong coastal city, beautiful port city and internationalized city, and lay a solid foundation for completing the construction of a moderately prosperous society in all respects.
