Qinhuangdao is an emerging industrial city.After more than 40 years of the reform and opening-up, it has formed a solid and relatively perfect industrial system, with five pillar industries, i.e., building materials industry centering on glass, cement and new building materials; metal rolling industry centering on steel and aluminum materials; chemical industry centering on compound fertilizers; electromechanical industry centering on automobile parts, railway turnout, steel beam, steel structure, and electronic products; food and beverage industry centering on fruit wine, beer and grain processing.
