Qinhuangdao Branch of Zhongguancun Haidian Park is the first branch of Zhongguancun Haidian Park in China.Since its opening, Qinhuangdao Branch has introduced 68 projects.
With its superior geographical location, Qinhuangdao Port has become an important water and land transport hub in northern China, an important energy export port in China, and a port with the largest number of coal ships in the world.Its shipping business covers more than 130 countries and regions.It has opened five domestic container liner routes to Dalian, Tianjin,Shanghai, Huangpu and Quanzhou, and three international liner routes to the west coast of Africa, Incheon of South Korea, and Kanto of Japan.
Founded in 1894, China Railway Shanhaiguan Bridge Group, known as“the Cradle of China's Steel Bridge,” has laid the foundation for the bridge manufacturing industry since 1949.It has manufactured 10 extra-large steel bridges across the Yangtze River in Wuhan, Nanjing, Jiujiang, etc., and nine large steel bridges across the Yellow River in Zhengzhou, Ji'nan, Shanxi,etc., as well as railway and highway steel bridges exported to Germany,Denmark, Norway, Myanmar and other countries.These bridges represent the highest level of bridge products in China and even in the world, creating many first records in the history of bridge construction in China.

Built according to the international standards, the Qinhuangdao Export Base of Harbin Electric Corporation is a first-class production base for million-kilowatt nuclear island main equipment.It manufactured China's first heavy-duty gas turbine, and established the first gas turbine assembly base in China, marking that China's production and manufacturing technology of power equipment has stepped into the ranks of advanced countries in the world.
In 2007, Shanhaiguan Shipyard built in 1972 was transformed into DSIC Shanhaiguan Shipbuilding Industry Co., Ltd.After more than 40 years of construction and development, it has formed a good trend of simultaneous development of ship maintenance, ship refitting, ship building, marine engineering and military products.It enjoys a high reputation in the domestic and international markets and has established a famous brand of Shan Shipbuilding.
The construction of the Olympic Sports Center, a landmark building,was started on May 27, 2002 and completed on July 30, 2004.It is the first competition area outside Beijing and the only Olympic stadium built near the sea in China.With a capacity of 32,000 people, its stadium won the titles of “Luban Award” of National Quality Engineering Award and the National Demonstration Project Award for Science and Technology.
