2.Changes of Respiratory Pathways during the Deveiopment of Rape Seeds
The respiration of rape seeds is inhibited by iodoacetamide and sodium fluoride，but the inhibition gradually decreases with the age of seeds（see Table 2）.
In the 8-day old seeds，the fractions of respiration inhibited by iodoacetamide and sodium fluoride were 62.5%and 61.6%respectively，while in the 30-day old seeds，they dropped to 29.6%and 22.0%.However，it is interesting to note that during the ripening period the inhibited fraction tends to rise again.
