4.3　Data classification and coding

4.3.1 Cancer classification and coding

Referring to the ICD-10 international statistical classification of oncology categories, the male and female tumors were subdivided into 59 parts and 25 major categories, including neoplasms, uncertain whether benign or malignant, of brain and central nervous system.(Table 2-1, table2-2)

2.登记地区分类

城市与农村的分类标准：根据国家标准GB2260—2009，将地级以上城市归于城市地区，县及县级市归于农村地区。按照此标准我们把洛阳市、三门峡市、鹤壁市、漯河市（召陵区和源汇区）、郑州市、安阳市、濮阳市华龙区、南阳市归类为城市地区；林州市、开封市（祥符区）、内乡县等地区归类为农村地区。4.3.2 Cancer registration area classification

The definition standards for urban area and rural area: according to national standard GB2260-2009, prefecture-level cities are classified into the urban areas, whereas counties and county-level cities are classified into the rural areas.Accordingly,the urban areas include Luoyang city, Sanmenxia City, Hebi City and Luohe City (Shaoling District and Yuanhui District), Zhengzhou City, Anyang City,Hualong District of Puyang City and Nanyang City,and the rural areas include Linzhou City, Kaifeng City (Xiangfu District), Neixiang County, etc.
