The age-specific incidence rate of all cancer sites in Henan cancer registration areas was lower than 45/105 at 0~34 age group.It increased dramatically after 35 years old, reaching the peak at the age group of 80~, with a rate of 1 738.21/105, and then decreased slightly after 85+ years old.The agespecific incidence rate for males is similar to that for females, increasing dramatically after 35 years old and reached the peak at the age group of 80~, with a peak rate of 2 309.22/105 for males but beached peak for female at 85+，with a rate of 1 325.94/105, and then decreased slightly after 85+ years old.
The age-specific incidence rate in urban areas was relatively low before 35 years old, it increased dramatically after 35 years old.And the peak rates were 3 482.77/105 at the age group of 85+ for male and 1 596.56/105 for female at the age group of 80~.
The trend of age-specific incidence rate in rural areas was similar to that in urban areas for the same gender.It reached the peak at the age group of 80~ and decreased after 85 years old.The peak rates were 1 628.79 /105 for both genders, 2 150.11 /105 for males and 1 287.72 /105 for females.
When compare the age-specific incidence rates between males and females, they were lower for males than those for females at the age groups of 15 to 54, while obviously higher for males than those for females after 55 years old.This characteristic was seen in both urban areas and rural areas.
When compare the age-specific incidence rates between the urban areas and the rural areas, the agespecific rates in urban areas were slightly lower than those in rural areas before 74 years old and reversely,they were obviously higher in urban areas than those in rural areas after 75 years old.There were similar trends in both males and females.(Table 4-3, Figure 4-2a~figure 4-2d)
城乡间的年龄别发病率比较显示：74 岁以下大部分年龄组城市地区的略微低于农村地区，75 岁组及以上各年龄组城市地区的发病率明显高于农村地区；男性和女性的年龄别发病率的分布特征基本一致。（表4-3，图4-2a~图4-2d）
