1.Test Types and Cycles of Tools And Instruments for Live Working
Tests of tools and instruments for live working,including electrical test and mechanical test,shall be carried out regularly according to DL/T976-2005 of Preventive Test Code of Tools,Devices and Equipment for Live Working,the test items and cycles of tools,devices and equipment for live working are shown in Table 1-1.

2.Electrical Preventive Test Items and Standards of Insulating Tools
The electrical preventive test items and standards of insulating tools are shown in Table 1-2.(https://www.daowen.com)

Note:The test sample shall be in whole piece and shall not be divided into sections.
3.Inspection Test Standard for Insulating Tools
During the power frequency withstand voltage test,divide the insulating tool into several sections and add a voltage of 75kV on each 300mm for 1min,after which if no flashover,breakdown or overheating is found,the insulating tool is qualified.
4.Mechanical Test Standard for Tools for Live Working
(1)When bearing loads of various clamps and insulator link fittings under working load condition,the test shall be conducted according to relevant fitting standards.
(2)When bearing other static loads under working load condition,the test shall be conducted according to the design load and provisions of DL/T976-2005 Preventive Test Code of Tools,Devices and Equipment for Live Working.
(3)Load test shall be conducted regularly for tools and instruments for live working.
