结语
综上所述，我们认为巴基斯坦急需投入更多力量保护文化遗产。我们选择印度作为对比分析对象并非有意否认巴基斯坦政府和考古学家的努力，而是出于以下几个明确的理由：两国同时独立；考古学同时起步；遗址数量相近；拥有着同一段历史、同一种文化，以及相似的气候条件和土地资源。
本文建议巴基斯坦政府尽快在各大学内开设考古学科课程，建设相关实验室、图书馆和博物馆。优秀先例如旁遮普省前省长哈立德·马哈茂德，他对艺术与设计很感兴趣，便在短时间内推动设立了许多相关机构；又如惠勒，曾将考古学引入南亚次大陆的教育界。
巴基斯坦与中国均历史悠久且友谊深厚，我们认为巴基斯坦政府应当充分利用中巴经济走廊加强考古学的建设。2018年11月，巴基斯坦总理伊姆兰·汉（Imran Khan）在访问中国期间与中国总理李克强签订了一份联合声明，其中专门提到要加强两国博物馆和考古学之间的合作。
目前开伯尔-普赫图赫瓦省正在积极推动相关合作[59]。开伯尔-普赫图赫瓦省考古博物馆部和山西省文化局签署了一份协议，协议提议在开伯尔-普赫图赫瓦省建立四个国际标准级博物馆，同时配备图书馆与其他现代设施，用以保存、保护该省遗址。此外，协议还决定在白沙瓦大学设立汉语及中国文化学院[60]。
河北师范大学、南京大学以及湖北考古研究所已经获得由旁遮普省考古总局颁发的考古发掘执照，目前正在伊斯兰堡的贾汉巴哈塔（Jhang Barhatar）遗址发掘哈拉帕至吠陀时期的考古学文化遗存，并表示希望与拉合尔女子大学在考古学领域签署相关协议，开展相关合作。这一切似乎预示着一个巴基斯坦考古新纪元的到来，我们等待着，我们期盼着。
