Miss Liu, FA secretary of Super Leather Company, invites Mr. Brown to enjoy the night life in Guangzhou.
Miss Liu: There is a newly-opened bar tonight. Would you like to hang out?
Brown: What’s special about that bar?
Miss Liu: Their live band, especially the bass player.
Brown: What kind of music are they playing?
Miss Liu: Awesome heavy metal. If you like loud music, you’ll love it.
Brown: Excellent. I’m going, and let’s say 6:30 p.m. at the gate, OK?
Miss Liu: Sure. Be there or be square.
In the bar
Bartender: Good evening. What would you like to drink?
Miss Liu: Any special drinks?
Bartender: We have a great selection of beers from all over the world. If you love beer, don’t miss it.(https://www.daowen.com)
Miss Liu: Sounds cool. What kind of beers do you serve?
Bartender: All brands in the market, including domestic and imported.
Miss Liu: I love the taste of Qingdao Beer.
Brown: Could you recommend some good Chinese liquor?
Bartender: We have many famous brands, like Maotai, Fenjiu, Wuliangye, Gujinggong,Yanghe Liquor, Jiannanchun, Luzhoulaojiao, and Confucius Family Liquor. They belong to the high-proof Chinese alcoholic beverage with varying degrees. The Beijing favorite is called Erguotou, which is 56% alcohol. More expensive are Maotai and Wuliangye.
Miss Liu: Wouldn’t you care for a cup of Erguotou?
Brown: I’m afraid it’s a bit too strong for me. I’m not used to strong drinks. It’ll go to my head.
Bartender: Although it’s pretty strong, it isn’t heady. That is the beauty of it.
Brown: OK. I’ll try a drop then.
Bartender: A drop won’t hurt, I promise. What else do you need, sir?
Brown: Maybe some Chinese wine.
Miss Liu: Zhangyu wines are good. Zhangyu winery has a history of more than a hundred years.
Brown: OK, then. Please give me a glass of Zhangyu Red Wine. And that’s all for me.
Bartender: Good. I would be right back with your order.
