Particularly in the historic area of the city centre in Jinan, with a large floating population, high building density, heavy traffic, and other issues that are coupled with poor living facilities, the ecological environment outlook is not optimistic.The former residences of historic personalities in Jinan are mostly located in the historic area, where the flow of public transport impacts the image of heritage sites.Air pollution and noise pollution caused by crowded urban traffic degrade the quality of the buildings and the environment.Physical vibrations produced by traffic deteriorates the structure of these historic buildings.[17]The government faces many challenges in the preservation of historic buildings contained within the city.Therefore, establishing an urban ecological disaster monitoring system in Jinan is vital to foresee the ecological risks around heritage sites.On one hand, it can supervise and research the potential for environmental risks and support on-site investigations of surrounding environmental sensitive areas and encourage environmental risk prevention and control measures.On the other hand, when accidents occur, the emergency response command management operation mechanism can be activated during the environmental disasters, which can provide data basis and construction support for mitigating the damage done.Therefore, evaluating the trend of risks based on collected data is a precondition for proposing legislation and measures for prevention and protection of these former residences.(https://www.daowen.com)
