4.4.4　Learning Curve

The complete learning curve is very important to improve the success rate of SLNB and reduce the false negative rate.The American Society of Breast Surgeons Consensus states that SLNB should be completed before replacing ALND with 20 cases of SLNB-ALND，with a success rate of 85%and a false negative rate of 5%.SLNB is currently a training course for surgical inpatients in the United States.For doctors who have not been trained at the inpatient stage，the consensus requires them to receive formal training and to complete more than 20 SLNB-ALND cases using a joint method，while ensuring adequate surgical volume.The study of Chinese doctors'breast cancer SLNB learning curve is under way，in the previous China Cancer Association Breast Cancer Professional Committee“Breast Cancer SLNB Clinical Guidelines”recommended that China's breast cancer SLNB to replace ALND，should be completed in 40 cases of SLNB-ALND，so that the success rate of SLNB reached 90%，false negative rate of 5%.(https://www.daowen.com)
