1.Overview of the Course

With the rapid development of medicine and life science,the knowledge system and technology of basic disciplines(microbiology,immunology and parasitology)have developed rapidly,and the subject content has profound influence on medicine and life science more and more,and has become an irreplaceable subject in modern medicine and life science.The knowledge system of basic disciplines consists of theoretical courses and experimental courses,including clinical medicine,preventive medicine,forensic medicine,testing,pharmacy,nursing,biological science,biotechnology,biomedical engineering and other professional basic courses.As a bilingual teaching system,basic experimental teaching is divided into four parts according to the corresponding theoretical courses,and each part has 30-hours teaching content,which can be selected and used by different majors,especially foreign students.

2.Teaching objectives

Basic experiment teaching is an important part of the whole basic subject teaching.Basic experimental teaching can deepen understanding of theoretical knowledge for students.Basic experimental teaching can cultivate students'ability to design experiments and solve problems independently.The microbiology section covers the use and maintenance of microscopes,aseptic techniques,preparation of culture media,gram staining,and effects of the external environment on microbial growth.In addition,students are required to master the isolation and identification of pathogenic coccus and intestinal pathogenic bacteria.The immunology part requires students to be familiar with immune agglutination and precipitation reaction technology,master the function and detection technology of complement,cytokine analysis technology,molecular identification and function detection technology of lymphocytes.Parasitology requires students to be familiar with the morphology and structure of eggs of various parasites,and master the parasitic characteristics of various protozoa,nematodes and tapeworms in the host body.(https://www.daowen.com)

3.Teaching strategies

Experimental teaching strategy focuses on the cultivation of students'ability.It should not only cultivate students'experimental skills,but also promote the improvement of practical ability.The key is to cultivate students'initiative and independence,and guide them to develop the habit of being good at observing,thinking,raising,analyzing and solving problems in the learning process.To train students how to use the knowledge and technology to better serve for the future clinical work,that is,to train students'guiding ideology of"putting what they have learned into practice".

4.Evaluation methods

According to the students'experiment preparation,experiment discipline,experiment hands-on ability and experiment report results,the comprehensive evaluation is carried out,and the specific score is given.
