Shin Aiba, Ph.D.from Waseda University, Japan, professor of urban systematics at Tokyo Metropolitan University.His field of research is urban planning and community building.

陈月浩，博士，副教授，上海视觉艺术学院视觉德稻设计学院室内设计方向专业负责人。长期从事环境设计教学，在地域振兴、社区营造等方面有着丰富的实践经验，曾多次与国内外教授、设计师合作开设国际设计工作坊。
ABOUT SUPERVISORS
Dr.Chen Yuehao, associate professor and head of interior design orientation at School of SIVA-Detao Design, has been dedicated to environmental design teaching, regional revitalization and community building.Dr.Chen has been actively working with Chinese and international professors, designers on workshops of international design.
课程介绍
“全球大都市研究”工作坊是上海视觉艺术学院室内设计专业和东京首都大学环境学部合作的全球大都市研究项目的重要节点环节。该项目从2015年开始，已经持续进行4年。每年由两校师生分别针对上海和东京的城市建设和发展中的3～5个典型问题进行比较研究，双方师生互访，开展设计工作坊。
COURSE OUTLINE
‘Cosmopolitan Research’workshop is a joint program conducted by interior design major of SIVA and environment science department of Tokyo Metropolitan University.The program started in 2015 and has been running for 4 years.we have witnessed annual exchange of teachers and students from Shanghai and Tokyo, conducting design workshops,comparative researches, study of 3-5 typical questions which relate to urban construction and development of the two cities.
