白条草蜥Takydromus wolteri
地方名：草蜥、马蛇子
形态特征：成体全长150～200mm，尾长不超过头体长的2.5倍。体细长，头尖细，头顶有对称性大鳞。体背鳞片大而起棱，通常中段为7～8纵行；腹面具光滑大鳞8纵行；颔片4对；鼠蹊孔1对。背面橄榄褐色、黄褐色、灰褐色等，上唇缘、体背和体侧都有白色细条纹。
生活习性：栖息在山区林缘、草丛或灌木丛中，平原地区也有分布，攀草爬树，在草上或树上觅食、休息，非常灵活。多以蜘蛛类、鳞翅目幼虫和成虫、蚊类、蝇类、蝗虫等为食。5月进入繁殖季节， 5—6月产卵，产卵数4～9枚；孵化期33～39天。
地理分布：国内分布于东北三省、四川、湖北、安徽、江苏、江西、福建；国外分布于俄罗斯东部和朝鲜半岛。
环渤海地区分布：仅见于辽宁东部。
生存现状：无危（LC）。

Description Adults up to 150-200mm in TOL; TAL is not more than 2.5 times of SVL;the body is long and thin; sharp and thin head; symmetrically big scales on the top head;big scales are ribbed on the dorsum; generally 7-8 lines in the middle part; big and smooth scales in 8 lines on the ventral; four pairs of jaw pieces; one pair of inguinal pore; dorsum is olive brown, yellowish brown, greyish brown; thin and white stripes on the upper lip edges,the body dorsum and body sides.
Behaviour Takydromus wolteri generally live along the edge of a mountain forest, plain grass or bushes and plains, and they climb trees and grass, eat and rest on the grass and trees.They are very flexible.They mostly feed on spiders, juvenile and adult of Lepidoptera,mosquitoes, flies and locusts, etc.Their breeding season is in May.They prawn from May to June and they can lay 4-9 eggs each time.The incubation period is 33-39 days.
Distribution China: Liaoning, Jilin, Heilongjiang, Sichuan, Hubei, Anhui, Jiangsu,Jiangxi, and Fujian; also found in the east of Russia and the Korean Peninsula at abroad.Distribution around Bohai Sea: only in the east of Liaoning Province.
