桓仁滑蜥Scincella huanrensis
地方名：金马蛇子
形态特征：体小而细长，成体全长90～120mm。全身鳞片光滑无棱。环体中段鳞26～28行。鼻鳞较大而完整。无上鼻鳞。四肢极短小，前后肢贴体相向时，指、趾相距约等于前肢长度。体背古铜色，体侧自吻端经两肋至尾部各有一条深色纵纹，占4～6行鳞宽，纵纹上缘较平直，纵纹下方深灰色，有较大的黑褐色点状斑。腹面蓝灰色或浅灰色，有细小的褐色斑。
生活习性：桓仁滑蜥1年繁殖1次，繁殖季节为7月下旬到8月上旬。卵胎生，平均每只雌蜥产仔2～6只。雌蜥的分娩在洞穴中进行，分娩时间可持续60～90分钟，仔蜥在产出时卵膜已破裂。
地理分布：狭布种，国内仅分布于辽宁，国外见于朝鲜半岛。
环渤海地区分布：仅分布于辽宁（桓仁）。
生存现状：近危（NT），桓仁滑蜥在我国仅分布于辽宁省桓仁县很狭窄的区域内，种群数量极其稀少。由于人类生产活动的影响和猎捕，已经导致该物种处于极度濒危状态，如今在其栖息地已经难见其踪迹。

Description Adults up to 90-120mm in TOL; body is small and slender.smooth skin,without tubercles; annulus middle scales are in 26-28 rows.Nasal is bigger and completed;no supralabials; limbs are extremely short and small; limbs adpressed not touching; the distance between the fingers and toes equal to the length to the forelegs; body dorsum color is bronze; a dark ventral stripe on body sides, from the snout through ribs to the tail, as wide as about 4-6 rows of scales; upper rim of the ventral stipe is straight; lower rim is dark grey,with large dark brownish dot spots; the ventral is blue grey or light grey, with small brown spots.
Behaviour Scincella huanrensis breeds one time a year, and the breeding season is late July to early August.They are viviparous, and every female lizard lays 2-6 eggs.The delivery takes place in the caves, and the delivery time can last 60-90 minutes.The amniotic membrane of the egg is broken when the newborn lizard is producing.
Distribution Native to China: in Liaoning Province.Distribution around the Bohai Sea:only in Liaoning Province (Huairen).
Conservation Near Threatened (NT), Scincella huanrensis can only be found in the very narrow area of Huairen County of Liaoning Province in China.The population is extremely small and sparse.Due to human's productive activity and hunting, the species has been in an extremely endangered state, and it is very difficult to see them in their habitats now.
