如何撰写Cover letter
多数情况下，在投稿阶段，需要提供Cover letter（个别期刊可能不要求）。虽然各期刊针对Cover letter中需要包含的信息在要求上有所不同，但是撰写需要遵循信件的形式。内容上要言简意赅，注意控制字数，一般不超过一页（单倍或1.2倍行距）。一般情况下，需要包含以下几个成分：①信件的收信人（Editor-in-Chief or Editor）。②信件的开头：介绍所提交稿件的类型（例如，original paper或systematic review）及标题。③信件的主体：对你的研究进行简要介绍，包括研究的大体内容及研究意义。④本研究对该期刊的贡献：说明为什么你的论文适合投在该期刊上。⑤常规性段落：说明没有一稿多投、所有作者都同意投稿等情况，并表示感谢。根据期刊不同，有些要求将作者分工及是否存在利益冲突放在Title page，有些则要求其放在Cover letter。此外，越来越多的杂志要求投稿者在Cover letter中说明：所投稿件是否与既往已发表论文使用了同一数据（集）。如果是，则要说明此稿件与既往论文有何联系和差别。⑥署名（即写信人，第一作者或通讯作者）。署名时，除了给出作者姓名、学位、头衔，还有给出单位、地址和邮箱。下面的案例中，将分享我们既往投稿中使用的Cover letter。
