SEISMIC DATA PROCESSING OF WESTERN NANKAI TROUGH AND THE CHARACTER OF ITS BOTTOM SIMULATING REFLECTOR

Abstract：Reprocessing of NT62-2seismic line of western Nankai Trough has been conducted to focus on the character of the distribution of Bottom-simulating reflector（BSR）.The appearances of BSRs on the near-offset profile，the stack profile，the migration profile，the instantaneous amplitude profile and the instantaneous phase profile are compared and described.They are also distinguished in shot gathers and CMP gathers.Although there are some evidences of BSRs on the near-offset profile，and better images of BSRs can be obtained by stack and migration.Character of strong amplitude of BSRs can be easily seen on the instantaneous amplitude profile.And they are clearly mapped on the instantaneous phase profile.(https://www.daowen.com)
