1.主要研究方向及内容
主要研究方向为森林昆虫化学生态学，研究内容涵盖外来入侵种生态调控以及林果害虫及其寄主植物间化学通信和分子调控机制。
2.代表性成果
重大入侵害虫松树蜂Sirex noctilio和本地种新渡户树蜂Sirex nitobei繁殖行为及化学生态调控
松树蜂原产于欧洲、亚洲格鲁吉亚共和国和蒙古国以及北非，是国际上具有极高风险的林业外来入侵生物。
（1）繁殖行为：两种交配行为可分为5个阶段（搜索、吸引、抱握、交配、结束）；与本地物种相比，入侵物种表现出更强的交配能力，包括交配频率、时间和持续时间等各个指标。
（2）信息素分析：交尾高峰期，对两种树蜂雄蜂挥发物进行SPME收集，然后进一步GC-EAD鉴定活性物质，最终确定了雄蜂活性挥发物为（Z）-3-癸烯醇；2日龄个体的雄性信息素释放高峰出现在11：00～12：00。
（3）信息素结合蛋白基因：通过转录组测序，得到松树蜂触角气味结合蛋白16种，化学感受蛋白7种；新渡户树蜂触角气味结合蛋白15种，化学感受蛋白6种（图8）；松树蜂和新渡户树蜂大多数嗅觉相关基因同源，从基因层面说明了两物种的近缘关系；实时荧光定量PCR发现大多数气味结合蛋白基因在触角中表达，说明了触角在嗅觉感受中的重要性。
