5.3　Sustainability of Haiti after 20 Years and Its Analysis

Based on the model,we can work out the value table of indicators of Haiti after the implementation of policies and planning over 20 years and then get the sustainability value of Haiti in 2030：

sustainability=-11.78

The evaluation results show that,compared to the predicted sustainability value-33.71 in 2030 without the implementation of policies and planning,the value has been greatly improved,but it is still less than 0,which indicates that Haiti is still in a low state of sustainable development.The reasons may include：

•Multiple natural disasters produce a lot of constraints to the sustainable development of Haiti and it is hard to only depend on policies to fundamentally solve the problem.

•The implementation of policies is always lagging,unable to cope with the changes in a timely manner.

•Over time,other indicators without policies greatly influence the sustainable development of Haiti.
