熟悉场景
人物故事场景多以采访的形式出现，偶尔在考博英语听力中出现。人物故事类一般以一问一答的采访形式出现，主要涉及人的职业、趣闻轶事、生活背景、个性特征、成长和奋斗历程、对某件事的看法、态度以及解决方法等，其特点是以时间的先后或事件的发展为主线，脉络清楚。
场景人物：人物、采访者
场景涉及内容：
人物的身份，人物或事件之间的关系；
人物的态度及意图，事情的前因和后果；
问题的解决方法，对某件事的态度。
场景词汇：work for；start by；pretty important role；interviewee；staff correspond-ent等。
答题技巧
（1）判断话题与场景。人物故事场景的开场比较固定，一般为The person who brings us...，welcome；...our interview spot is...据此判断对话是否为人物故事场景。
（2）注意第一个回合的对话。在长对话中，寒暄过后的第一句话一般起到引出话题的作用，很可能是对话的主题所在，也是回答主旨、话题以及场景题的依据，正确的答案往往是核心词汇的重现、同义词，或者是由该单词所得出的自然的推论。
（3）细节题原则——听到什么选什么。人物故事场景一般针对对话中的细节提问较多，多在特殊疑问句处设置问题。与短对话的区别在于，短对话中一般采用的原则是听到什么就不选什么，而长对话恰恰相反，它考查的重点是那些含有实际意义的问答内容，尤其是特殊疑问句。

M:So，what does it take for someone to be a good host?
W:Well，I think it’s two things.First，you have to be able to look straight into the camera，and of course，you have to have a nice-sounding voice.That’s one part.As for the other part，you have to be a good listener，and you have to think quickly.I mean，even though you might have a set of questions at the back of your mind，you also have to be able to respond to the unexpected things that the guest may say.So，being a good listener is just as important as asking questions.
