The writer of this diary is a mixture in English learning, and I like some of his/her plans. For example,he/she plans to read English articles and story books and write something after reading. I think this can help to improve his/her reading and writing.
He/She also decides to watch English cartoons, which is also suggested by my English teacher as a way to keep interest and improve speaking skills. But I don’t think preparing a talk before an English class would work. What if your English teacher doesn’t invite you to say something? It would be better to find some partners and practise speaking English, at any time！

The first few weeks of my senior middle school have been a disaster！ When I studied English in junior middle school, I spent a lot of time memorising English words and grammar rules. This helped me through the past three years. But now, the rules are more confusing, and there are more new words in just one lesson.How I wish there were 25 hours a day！
After finishing the study of the first two units, I know memorising is not the best way and I should use some effective learning strategies. I plan to learn and use the words and grammar rules by putting them in a meaningful way, like writing a short story, drawing a mind map, or simply keep a diary like this. I gradually come to realise that, for English learning, if you use it, you will not lose it！
