89.四次“升起”raise，rise，arise，arouse
（1）raise：上升；升起；举起。及物动词，后加宾语。如：
He raises his hand.
他举起他的手。
表示把某具体事物抬起高处或提高某抽象事物（工资、地位等）。如：
They raise glasses to the friendship between the two peoples.
他们举杯为两国人民的友谊干杯。
（2）rise：攀升；起床；升起。不及物动词，使用范围广，既用于具体事物的“上升、增长”，又用于抽象事物的“上涨、发生”。如：
The sun was rising when we got to the top of the mountain.

（3）arise：出现；上升；产生。起因于。不及物动词。如：
Accidents arise from carelessness.
事故是由于粗心造成的。
（4）arouse：引起；唤醒；鼓励。及物动词。如：
The lecture aroused my interest.
