（1）be eager to do sth.：渴望做某物（热衷，热切），强调对成功的期望。如：
I am eager to do that interesting work.
我渴望去做那件有趣的工作。
（2）be anxious to do sth.：急于做某事（忧虑，担心），对结果感到不安。如：
I am anxious to know the news from the battlefield.
我急于想知道战场上传来的消息。
（3）long to do sth.：渴望做某事（期待）。如：(https://www.daowen.com)
She is longing to go to a key university.
她渴望能上一所重点大学。
（4）be dying to do sth.：非常想做某事（急切，巴不得立即）。如：
It is too hot and I am dying to drink some cold water.
