Hebei Garden Expo Park,located in Binhu New District of Hengshui City,was the venue of the First Garden Expo of Hebei Province.It is 5km from the main urban area of Hengshui City on the north and 10km from the urban area of Jizhou on the south.It is closely connected with the Hengshui Lake wetland on the west,which is known as National Nature Reserve,“Sapphire in East Asia,” “Pearl of North China” and “the most beautiful wetland in Beijing,Tianjin and Hebei,” and adjacent to the Old Salt River,an ancient course of the Yellow River,on the east.In July 2017,the First Garden Expo was hosted by the Hebei Provincial Department of Housing and Urban-Rural Development and undertaken by the Hengshui Municipal People’s Government.With the theme of “Wetland Garden,Leisure Lake City,” guided by five development concepts,and with the purpose of “innovation,ecology,multi-interest and sustainability,” the First Garden Expo strived to create a unique,splendid and permanent Garden Expo with Hengshui characteristics!(https://www.daowen.com)
