Baoding’s automotive industry started in the 1970s.After more than 40 years of construction and development,it has initially formed a production system of vehicles and parts with Great Wall,ZX Auto,Sail,Lingyun and Lizhong as the mainstays.The main products include cars,pickup trucks,SUVs,heavy trucks,desert vehicles,engines,batteries,wheel hubs and so on.Five vehicle and parts companies,such as Great Wall,Lizhong,Sail,Lingyun and Huaxia Technology,have been successfully listed at home and abroad.The R&D and production of new products such as new energy vehicles,intelligent connected vehicles and driverless vehicles,are accelerated to promote better and faster development of the automotive industry.
