The ancestors of Dingzhou created splendid material civilization and spiritual civilization.For thousands of years,more than 50,000 cultural relics and treasures have been telling stories of the past.Dingzhou has five projects of national intangible cultural heritage,13 projects of provincial intangible cultural heritage and 19 projects of prefecture-level intangible cultural heritage.At present,there are nine historic sites under state protection and 13 under provincial protection.Collecting more than 50,000 cultural relics,ranking first in all cities (counties) of Hebei Province,Dingzhou Museum is the second largest museum in Hebei.Dingzhou City is honored as“Hometown of Chinese Blowing Song Culture”and“Hometown of Chinese Yangko Culture.”
