In 2016, the cases of cancer of kidney and unspecified urinary organs (below named as kidney cancer) accounted for 1.16% of all cancer cases in Henan cancer registration areas with the crude incidence of 3.12/105, ASR for China 2.48/105 and ASR for World 2.50/105.The incidence in males was 3.60/105, and 2.61/105 in females.It was 1.5 times in males as high as that in females and it was 1.58 times in urban areas as that in rural areas.The crude mortality of kidney cancer in 2016 was 1.24/105, ASR for China was 0.95/105 and ASR for World 0.98/105.The mortality in males was 1.67/105, and 0.78/105 in females.The cumulative rates of incidence and mortality from 0 to 74 years old were 0.29% and 0.12%, respectively.(Table 5-17)

肾及泌尿系统不明恶性肿瘤年龄别发病率和死亡率在0~29 岁年龄段处于较低水平，30 岁以后快速上升，在80 ~岁或85 岁以上组达到高峰，男性高于女性。城乡和不同地区年龄别率的水平虽然有一定的差异，但总体趋势类同。（图5-17a ～图5-17f）
The age-specific incidence rate of kidney cancer was relatively low before 29 years old and increased dramatically since 30 years old, and reached the peak at the age group of 80~or 85+.The age-specific mortality rate of kidney cancer was relatively low before 34 years old and increased obviously since 35 years old, reaching the peak at the age group of 85 in the urban areas and of 80 in the rural areas.(Figure 5-17a~figure 5-17f)

在8 个城市肿瘤登记地区中，男性肾及泌尿系统不明恶性肿瘤标化发病率最高的是濮阳市华龙区（8.44/10 万），其次是三门峡市湖滨区和洛阳市；女性发病率最高的是洛阳市（5.22/10万），其次是鹤壁市和三门峡市湖滨区。男性标化死亡率最高的是漯河市（3.67/10 万），女性死亡率最高的是洛阳市（2.03/10 万）。（图5-17g）
Among the 8 urban cancer registration areas, the ASR China incidence rate of kidney cancer in males was the highest in Hualong District of Puyang City(8.44/105), followed by Hubin District of Sanmenxia City and Luoyang City.In females, it was the highest in Luoyang City (5.22/105), followed by Hebi City and Hubin District of Sanmenxia City.The ASR China mortality was the highest in Luohe City for males(3.67/105) and in Luoyang City for females (2.03/105).(Figure 5-17g)

在27 个农村肿瘤登记地区中，男性肾及泌尿系统不明恶性肿瘤标化发病率最高的是开封市祥符区（7.14/10 万），其次是漯河市郾城区和洛阳市偃师市；女性发病率最高的是巩义市（5.93/10 万），其次是洛阳市栾川县和开封市祥符区。男性标化死亡率最高的是开封市祥符区（5.63/10 万），女性死亡率最高的是商丘市虞城县（1.46/10 万）。（图5-17h）
Among the 27 rural cancer registration areas, the ASR China incidence rate of kidney cancer in males was the highest in Xiangfu District of of Kaifeng City(7.14/105), followed by Yancheng District of Luohe City and Yanshi City of Luoyang City.In females, it was the highest in Gongyi City (5.93/105), followed by Luanchuan County of Luoyang City and Xiangfu District of of Kaifeng City.The age-standardized mortality was the highest in Xiangfu District of Kaifeng City for males (5.63/105) and in Yucheng County of Shangqiu City for females (1.46/105).(Figure 5-17h)
