Thyroid Gland (C73)
In 2016, thyroid cancer cases accounted for 2.74% of all cancer cases in Henan cancer registration areas with the crude incidence of 7.36/105,ASR for China 6.44/105 and ASR for World 5.85/105.The incidence in males was 3.22/105, and 11.76/105 in females.It was 3.57 times in males as high as that in females and it was 1.77 times in urban areas as that in rural areas.The crude mortality of thyroid cancer in 2016 was 0.83/105, ASR for China was 0.66/105 and ASR for World 0.65/105.The mortality in males was 0.73/105, and 0.95/105 in females.The cumulative rates of incidence and mortality from 0 to 74 years old were 0.60% and 0.07%, respectively.(Table 5-20)

甲状腺恶性肿瘤年龄别发病率和死亡率在0~14 岁年龄段处于较低水平,15 岁以后快速上升,在50 岁达到高峰,50 岁以后逐步下降,85+岁降到低点,男性发病率低于女性。甲状腺恶性肿瘤年龄别死亡率在0~34 岁年龄段处于较低水平,35 岁以后快速上升,在85+岁达到高峰,男性和女性死亡率差别不大。城乡和不同地区年龄别率的水平虽然有一定的差异,但总体趋势类同。(图5-20a ~图5-20f)

The age-specific incidence and mortality rates of thyroid cancer increased by age before age years of 14 and increased gradually since 15 years old, reaching the peak at the age group of 50.It gradually decreased after 50 years old, and dropped to a very low point at 85+ years old.Incidence rate in females was generally higher than that in males.The age-specific mortality rate of thyroid cancer was relatively low before 34 years old, increased rapidly after 35 years old, and reaching a peak at age group of 85+.The age-specific incidence and mortality rates varied in urban and rural areas with similar curves.(Figure 5-20a~figure 5-20f)

在8 个城市肿瘤登记地区中,男性甲状腺恶性肿瘤标化发病率最高的是濮阳市华龙区(28.85/10 万),其次是三门峡市湖滨区和平顶山市;女性发病率最高的是濮阳市华龙区(42.3/10万),其次是三门峡市湖滨区和平顶山市。男性标化死亡率最高的是漯河市(2.13/10 万),女性死亡率最高的是漯河市(3.85/10 万)。(图5-20g)
Among the 8 urban cancer registration areas, the ASR China incidence rate of thyroid cancer in males was the highest in Hualong District of Puyang City(28.85/105), followed by Hubin District of Sanmenxia City and Pingdingshan City.In females, it was the highest in Hualong District of Puyang City (42.3/105),followed by Hubin District of Sanmenxia City and Pingdingshan City.The highest ASR China mortality in males was in Luohe City (2.13/105) and in females it was in Luohe City (3.85/105).(Figure 5-20g)

在27 个农村肿瘤登记地区中,男性甲状腺恶性肿瘤标化发病率最高的是洛阳市汝阳县(4.02/10 万),其次是濮阳市濮阳县和商丘市睢县;女性发病率最高的是开封市祥符区(23.93/10 万),其次是濮阳市濮阳县和洛阳市汝阳县。男性标化死亡率最高的是开封市祥符区(3.92/10 万),女性死亡率最高的是商丘市睢县(2.40/10 万)。(图5-20h)
Among the 27 rural cancer registration areas,the ASR China incidence rate of thyroid cancer in males was the highest in Ruyang County of Luoyang City (4.02/105), followed by Puyang County of Puyang City and Sui County.For females, it was the highest in Xiangfu District of Kaifeng City(23.93/105), followed by Puyang County of Puyang City and Ruyang County of Luoyang City.The ASR China mortality were the highest in Xiangfu District of Kaifeng City for males(3.92/105) and in Sui County of Shangqiu City for females (2.40/105).(Figure 5-20h)
