1.Basic Types of Live Working Tool Special Vehicle
The live working tool special vehicle can be divided into the following three types according to the characteristics and scope of use.
(1)Type I-Transmission lines(including substations)live working tool special vehicle,suitable for storing insulation tools,metal tools and PPE used in transmission lines(including substations).The temperature range of the space and tool storage compartment can be adjusted according to the type,size and quantity of live working tools stored in the tool.
(2)Type II-Distribution lines live working tool special vehicle,suitable for storing insulation tools,insulation shielding and PPE used in distribution lines.The temperature range of the space and tool storage compartment can be adjusted according to the type,size and quantity of live working tools stored in the tool.
(3)Type III-Hybrid live working tool special vehicle,suitable for storage of insulating tools,metal tools and PPE used for transmission lines(including substations),and insulation tools,insulation shields and PPE suitable for storage and distribution work.Partition isolation can be adapted to different temperature range requirements.
At present,distribution live working(type II)special vehicle has been widely used in distribution lines(including 10kV cable lines without power outages)live operation,and the transmission line live working vehicle(type I)shall also has been used.
The distribution live working special vehicle is shown in the Fig.4-22,and the distribution line emergency bypass tool car is shown i Fig.4-23.

In recent years,the distribution live working special vehicle has been updated very quickly,has been developed into a multi-functional and intelligent way,and has fully utilized modern mechatronics and measurement and control technology.Integrated with insulation tool storage environment monitoring,on-site repair process and on-site environmental monitoring,on-site lighting,dedicated power supply,3G wireless remote data transmission,alarm function,vehicle positioning and navigation,etc.,the needs of the live working of the distribution line and the on-site repair work can be satisfied to the maximum.Fig.4-24 shows the intelligent live working tool special vehicle developed and produced by Shaanxi Ha Electrical Power Technology Co.,Ltd.

2.Basic Structure of Live Working Tool Special Vehicle
The live working tool special vehicle is mainly composed of a vehicle platform,an on-board device,an auxiliary system and a tool storage compartment.Fig.4-25 shows the structure of the live working tool special vehicle.

①Vehicle platform.It is modified on the basis of engineering vehicles or passenger cars,including the vehicle chassis and the box body.It is the transportation carrier for the live working tool special vehicle.
②On-board device.It mainly includes on-board generator and power conversion device,and can ensure the switching between the vehicle power supply and the mains,followed by dehumidifiers,baking and heating equipment and exhaust equipment.
Fig.4-26 shows the portable generator adopted by the live working tool special vehicle.

③Auxiliary system.It includes control system,car GPS navigation system,fire smoke alarm detection and SMS alarm device.The car roof is provided with high-beam lighting and field video surveillance system,and equipped with micro weather system,car radio,GPS positioning system,on-board computer,hot meal device,etc.Fig.4-27 shows video surveillance terminal equipment for live working tool special vehicle.Fig.4-28 shows the lift vehicle lighting system.

④Tool storage compartment.It is a compartment for storing tools,shown as Fig.4-29.With temperature adjustment and humidity control function,the compartment can meet the moisture-proof and storage temperature requirements of insulation tools and insulation protection appliances.

3.Basic Functions of Live Working Tool Special Vehicle
It can meet the task requirements of independently completing the maintenance and emergency treatment of general live working and transmission operations of transmission and distribution lines,can regulate the management of distribution live working,and use the special tools for power distribution and working tools in live work,and can ensure the reliability of live working tools,thus ensuring the safety of live working,and providing auxiliary work on the live working site through the special tools for live working tools.
