8.3.9　Aerial Device with Insulating Booms

The aerial devices with insulating booms must be parked in a special garage with automatic dehumidification and drying equipment.The drying equipment must be installed at the height of the insulating boom,and the vehicle body does not need to be heated.It shall be supported by legs during long time parking.The hydraulic part of the aerial devices with insulating booms must be overhauled and renewed with oil once every two years,and the maintenance of the traveling part shall be carried out according to the requirements of the manufacturer.The storage of tools and instruments for live working is shown in Fig.8-10.
