8.4.1 Storage of Tools and Instruments for Live Wo...
1.Tools for live working shall be stored in a well ventilated,clean and dry special tool warehouse.The relative humidity in the warehouse shall not be more than 60%.The temperature of the storage area for hard insulating tools,soft insulating tools,detection tools and shielding tools shall be controlled at 5～40°C.
2.The warehouse for live working tools shall be equipped with thermometer,hygrometer,dehumidifier,heater with uniform radiation,and enough tool racks,hangers and fire extinguishers.
3.Tools and instruments for live working shall be kept by specially assigned person,and tools for live working shall be numbered and registered uniformly,and test,maintenance and use records shall be established.All kinds of tools and instruments shall have complete factory instructions,test cards or test reports.
4.Upon expiration of the service life of tools and instruments for live working,they shall be immediately scrapped according to the ledger.According to the usage situation,it is estimated that the purchasing plan for tools and instruments for live working will be made on an annual basis.
5.Defective live working tools shall be repaired in time,unqualified tools shall be scrapped,and shall not be used again.Unqualified tools and instruments shall not be placed in the warehouse for live working.

7.The warehouse for live working and live working tool car shall be sorted out every month.Drying or visual inspection and maintenance shall be conducted for the tools and instruments,and any problems found shall be timely reported to the special responsible person.
8.Periodical preventive test and querying test shall be performed on tools and instruments for live working.
9.The overhead aerial devices with insulating booms shall be stored in a dry and ventilated garage,and the insulating part shall be provided with moisture-proof measures.
10.In humid areas or wet seasons,when live working tools are to be used outdoor for more than 24 h,special live working toolshed car must be equipped with drying and dehumidification equipment,temperature and humidity auto-control system,and shall be implemented according to the standards for live working warehouse and live working tool car.The live working toolshed car must be dedicated,the vehicle-mounted generator and the temperature and humidity control system must be in good condition and ready for the drying and dehumidification work anytime and anywhere.The interface of the temperature and humidity control system of the live working toolshed car is shown in Fig.8-11.
