四 结语
2015年的“中国：镜花水月”展览是一个明显的当代“东方学”案例。从这个案例中可以看出，在当代文化界，尤其是博物馆和艺术馆，决定当代“东方”文化呈现方式的主要元素是市场需求和经济目标。或许策展人的初衷是希望通过这个东西方文化多元元素结合的展览，让观众们更好地了解当代东西方的文化发展与互相影响。但是，一些外部宣传因素，就像大都会年度慈善舞会本着以盈利和社会影响力为初衷，让展览的文化传播初衷转向了由“名人效应”牵引的流量展览，而“东方文化”也被转化为一种被经济利益所牵制的文化商品。
