Mini Task 1

Mr. Mark Brown is a foreign teacher who teaches English in a college in Beijing. He has bought a return ticket from Los Angeles to Beijing and will go back to Los Angeles in the Air China Los Angeles Office. When he finishes teaching in Beijing and decides to go back, he cannot find his ticket. So he goes to the foreign affairs office to ask Wang Chen how to handle the situation. Make a dialogue with your partner, taking the roles of Mark Brown and Wang Chen. You can refer to the following information about the tips for processing the replacement or refund of the lost ticket:

(1) Verify some points about the ticket by checking the passenger’s passport and reservation record such as the passenger’s name, the flight number, when and where he purchased the ticket and the ticket number.

(2) Ask the passenger who has lost his or her ticket to fill in The Application and Indemnity Agreement for Replacement/Refund of Lost Ticket and remind him or her to reimburse the airlines for its loss because of the fraudulent use of the lost ticket.

(3) Give the application form to the person in charge and have it countersigned.

(4) Replace the ticket or make the refund for the passenger.

Mini Task 2

Mr. Mark Brown and Wang Chen go to Air China Beijing to replace the lost ticket. They are now talking with the staff there. Make a dialogue with your partners, taking the roles of Mark Brown, Wang Chen and the staff in Air China.
