The Village God of Chaicun Village
The Village God of Chaicun Village was called“the Dragon King of the Four Seas”，who was very kind to the people and met all people's requests.
Once upon a time，two farmers and two fishermen came to look for the Dragon King.One of the farmers said to him，“It has kept raining for several days，but my family will thresh wheat tomorrow.Please give us the sun！”
Another farmer said to the Dragon King，“There is little rain this year，but my family will plant seedlings tomorrow.Please rain for us！”
After the two farmers had finished saying their request，the two fishermen came up to the Dragon King.One fisherman said，“I want to go boating to Xiaguan，but there is no wind.Please blow the north wind！”
Another fisherman said，“I'm going to row a boat to Shangguan，but there is no wind.Please blow the south wind！”
These four men had four opposite demands.What should the Dragon King do？He replied to them with no hesitation，“I'll blow south wind in the morning，and blow north wind in the evening.The rain will fall at night，and you can thresh wheat in the daytime.”
After the four men returned back，they all fulfilled their wishes.Until now，the wind in Dali blows south in the morning and north in the evening.In summer，it rains at night and clears up during the day.There is a local saying，“The rain in the morning does not last for a long time.”
The Dragon King was so good to the people of Chaicun Village that the villagers built a temple for him.As the temple was about to be completed，the Dragon King said to the villagers，“You have built a house for me，but I have nothing to repay you.What should I do？”
After thinking it over for a moment，he went to the oriental sea，where he took a handful of rapeseed and scattered it in Erhai Lake.Since then，there has been sea food on the edge of Erhai Lake.This kind of food is not only delicious，but also very peculiar：This sea food neither dries up in draught season nor submerges into the flood.It's root can't be pulled out completely，and you will not be tired of eating it.The more it is pulled out，the more it grows up.The more you eat，the more delicious it tastes.It's really a good food for free！
The third prince of the Dragon King was not good for the local people when he was the Dragon King in Zhaozhou（Fengyi）.He heard that his father brought back the sea rapeseed from the oriental sea and wanted to eat it，so he went to ask for the sea rapeseed.The Dragon King was very unhappy to see his third son and scolded him，“You order the common people to offer you pig heads and roosters every day.You are gluttonous and lazy！Now you want to eat fresh food？I won't give it to you！”
The third prince got a scolding and said angrily，“I will not drink sea water or eat any fish from now on！”With saying that，the third prince twisted his hip and sat with his back to his father.Until now，this pose has not changed.
