The Golden Rooster and the Black Dragon
A long time ago，there was an evil and cruel black dragon in Bijiang River flowing through the foot of the Golden Rooster Mountain.There was a beautiful and intelligent golden rooster on the Golden Rooster Mountain.The black dragon wanted to persuade the Golden Rooster Mountain and the Old Mother Mountain on the opposite to block the water flow in Bijiang River，and then surround Jinding Bazi as a sea to get the enjoyment.The golden rooster advised him：
“You can't just destroy fields and villages for your own sake.”
The black dragon refused to accept the golden rooster's advice and said triumphantly：
“I don't care whether it's a good field or a village，I'll drown it if I want，and it's none of your business！”Hearing this，the golden rooster thought to himself，“If you don't accept my persuasion，then you can try how fierce you are！”
Making up his mind to bet with the black dragon，the golden rooster said：
“As long as you are capable of blocking up the sea，I would rather be your food and fill your stomach even though I have been practicing for many years！”
The golden rooster then asked the black dragon：
“Black dragon，what if you can't block the sea？”
The black dragon gnashed his teeth and roared：
“Hum！Can't it be blocked？That's impossible！”
In this way，the fierce battle between the golden rooster and the black dragon began.
The black dragon began to fight.Soon the sky was overspread with black clouds and became pitch-dark.Thunders deafened the ears.Only the flying sand and stones could be seen，and then there came the heavy rain，flash floods and landslides.It seemed the two mountains would be pulled up very soon.
At this time，the golden rooster gently flapped his wings twice，stretched the neck slightly and crowed twice.With the two sounds，the rain stopped and the clouds disappeared.The red sun shone highly in the sky.The two mountains remained where they were，and they looked more delicate and prettier.
The black dragon was defeated but he would not give up.Breathing for a while，he began to fight again.
With all his strength，the black dragon used the magic.All in a sudden，dark clouds filled the sky，black wind and heavy rain were everywhere，the water started to rise from the ground，trees and mountains collapsed，and the lightning and the thunder broke out.The black dragon took advantage of the wind and the rain.The two mountains were on the verge of falling down.The black dragon rolled on the spot and jumped in the middle of the two mountains.With shaking head and tail and turning around，he made a maelstrom and revealed a backwater pool.The black dragon gloated.With his front paws grasping the Golden Rooster Mountain，and his rear paws stamping on the Old Mother Mountain，he arched himself and curled the neck to rush up to the top of the Golden Rooster Mountain to grasp the golden rooster，and wanted to swallow him with one bite.
The golden rooster showed his body，stepping on the mountain tip，and spreading his wings.After a few flaps，the wind stopped and the rain stopped.The golden rooster craned his neck and crowed three times to the east.Instantly，golden lights were flashing in the sky，and the clouds cleared up and the waves subsided.The golden rooster flew up，with a flying paw.He pushed toward the Old Mother Mountain，separating the two mountains that were about to close.The blocked river ran away with babbling.The black dragon slipped along the rocky mud and fell down dozens of feet away.The black dragon was covered with scales and was not conscious.His eyes were distracted.He leaned against the cliff and gasped heavily with his mouth open.When the golden rooster saw him，the golden rooster took advantage of the opportunity to make a white excrement，which directly flew into the mouth of the black dragon.
After the golden rooster defeated the black dragon，crops and villages were saved，and people were safe as well.The black dragon received his due punishment，who was hung on a cliff and would never do evil things again.
Then the golden rooster happily greeted the sun and flew to the east to subdue other evil dragons.
